Kelsey & Corey’S Wedding

Kelsie + Corey first met in 2012 when they were both going to Ohio State. Kelsie always jokes that she fell in love with the man who looked exactly like Aaron Craft!

He proposed to Kelsie in Hocking Hills while we were on a hike with their dog Cooper. Corey had arranged earlier in the week for a mutual friend of theirs to invite both of them to go hiking that weekend. They agreed and went down to Hocking Hills to meet their friend Kyle for a hike with Cooper. When they got there, they waited and waited around for Kyle for what seemed like 10 or 15 minutes and then Corey called him, and Kyle said he was running behind, and they should just get started without him and he will meet up with them later. About 3/4 way through the hike Kelsie said she was moving at a turtle’s pace up a hill and Corey and Cooper were waiting for her at the top of the hill with Corey on one knee. He proposed in the perfect place, at the perfect time, with the perfect Doggo present.

Since Brookshire includes so many services with the venue it took so much stress out of planning for this couple. Kelsie is an oncology and hospice nurse at Riverside, so she and Corey thought it would be so special to have the chaplain that Kelsie works with at the hospital mary them. This beautiful fall wedding is everything Kelsie had always imagined. She loves the warm colors of fall and truly couldn’t wait to marry her best friend at the perfect place and then throw the best party ever with all of their friends and family. Everything from the groom’s face during their first look, the warm fall sunset, and their sparkler exit, this day could not have been more picture-perfect for Kelsie and Corey!
